Contact UsThe Invisalign Process
We’ll use our smile preview software to create virtual impressions of your teeth and map out your treatment plan from start to finish. What’s exciting is that we’ll be able to show you a 3D model of what your smile will look like at the finish line. We’ll send your impressions to an off-site lab where they’ll handcraft your custom aligner trays. When we get them in, we’ll send you home with a few sets at a time, so you don’t have to make frequent trips to our office. On average, you’ll wear each retainer for about two weeks at a time before moving on to the next set in the series. You’ll be surprised at the improvement in your teeth alignment with each step!
Will Invisalign Affect My Diet or Lifestyle?
One of the greatest benefits of Invisalign is that it won’t affect your eating habits, oral hygiene, or social life. The aligners are removable, so you can take them out to brush and floss with ease. Better yet, you don’t have to abide by any dietary restrictions. You can also remove them if you’re heading out to attend a big event like a wedding or reunion. Traditional braces cause patients to miss out on many things that they enjoy in life, but with Invisalign, you won’t miss a beat!
Additional Benefits of Invisalign
Now that you’ve learned the aligners are convenient and removable, we’re proud to say that the benefits don’t stop there.
Additional perks include:
- The translucent aligners are so subtle that most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them.
- The aligners are made from a smooth plastic material, so they won’t irritate your cheeks or gums.
- The average treatment time for Invisalign is shorter than that of traditional braces.
- Compared to braces, you’ll have fewer appointments with Invisalign.
