Our friendly, enthusiastic team goes above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. We talk to you like a friend or family member instead of just another patient. Our team takes the time to get to know you and understand your dental concerns and goals in order to help you achieve a healthy, attractive smile you love.

Say Hello to Dr. Summer Rydel

Dr. Summer Rydel graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. During her time in Lubbock, she was actively involved in her sorority and a member of Golden Key National Honors Society. After graduating, Dr. Summer Rydel served as a dental assistant in Austin while preparing for dental school. She moved to New York to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University Collge of Dentistry and returned to set up her own practice, A Summer Smile. To remain current in her field, she is a member of the Capital Area Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

When she is not in the office, Dr. Rydel gives back to the community through outreach programs and volunteer work. In her spare time, she enjoys running, cycling, and playing sports.

SAY HELLO TO DR. AKKARI

Dr. Akkari received her Bachelor’s degree in French from the University of Texas at Austin, and her DDS degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where she also completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association, and the Capital Area Dental Society.

Dr. Akkari loves helping her patients achieve their desired healthy smile and strives to create the best dental experience by providing excellent care with compassion.

In her free time, Dr. Akkari enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and discovering new restaurants around town. She loves living in Austin because of its amazing live music scene!
